I love and respect Redwings rescues for their gentle, kind and trusting spirit that allows staff to transition them to a safe and peaceful place to roam. This Giving Tuesday, I’m raising funds for Redwings Horse Sanctuary, where 90 rescued horses are finally safe after surviving some very hard situations.
Winter is coming, and it’s the toughest time of year for the sanctuary. Hay and feed costs rise sharply, and every bale matters. These horses rely on Redwings every single day, for food, medical care, and the sense of safety many of them never knew before. Your gift helps make that possible.
When you stand in the pastures at Redwings, you see horses who once came from crowded auction pens, neglect, abandonment, or situations where no one stood up for them. Now, they lift their heads to greet you, tails swishing, eyes soft. They graze freely, play with their herd mates, and finally get to live the life every horse deserves.
